If you want to become an ELS student read the following requirements very attentively: Enrollment/Announcing participation
Your enrollment/announcing participation has to reach us as soon as possible (take into consideration that in some countries it can take months to get the necessary visa). Shortly, you will receive from us the confirmation of your enrollment and the other formalities that you have to carry out.
You are required to take into consideration the fact that you are not permitted to study in Germany with a tourist-visa! In order to do this you will need a study visa/ an application visa.
In this respect you may need (depending on the country of origin) the proof of sufficient financial means, a school-graduation diploma and a certificate of Alma Mater studies.
If we receive your registration form too late, we will register you (after you have confirmed your intention), for the following semester. Renunciation of participation
After the course has started it is possible to renounce participation only in exceptional cases (death, extremely serious illness). For any other reasons (change of residence, marriage, birth) you are not entitled to a refund. Participation
Participants have to attend all courses, even the ones that we offer (free of charge) in addition to the regular courses. This could be, for example, the lecture of a lawyer or of an insurance-agent invited by us. An introductory course in the university library is also part of our program. These additional offers are meant to give you important information that helps you to integrate rapidly.
We start from the premise that, eager to learn, you are profoundly motivated to follow and accomplish your goals and our mutual interests for which we want to co-operate. Regularly, we will give you written and oral tests that are meant to establish the level of your acquired knowledge.
In case of persistent non-attendance (without a solid reason) or inappropriate behavior during courses we maintain the right to take disciplinary measures (for example: elimination from courses). We point out that there is no guarantee for you to get a university place after passing an intermediate examination or the DSH exam
